Easter is almost here…let the countdown begin! 3..2..1..
Get your kids excited with this easy to make “Countdown to Easter” board. Each day, your kids will open one of the eggs and find the jellybeans inside.
Here is how you do it:
- Plastic Easter Eggs
- OL1025WX 1” circle labels from Onlinelabels.com
- Glue dots or hot glue
- Craft knife or box cutter
- Foam board
- Washi tape
- Free printable labels (download here countdown to Easter printable labels) You can always use the others for Easter cards or to decorate other Easter eggs. (*I created the labels using Onlinelabels.com’s free design program Maestro. Just be sure to use the browsers Internet Explorer on Windows or Safari on Mac to achieve the alignment you’re looking for.)
Step 1: Print out your labels.
Step 2: Fill your plastic Easter eggs with jellybeans.
Step 3: Place your number labels on your Easter eggs.
Step 4: Use your craft knife or box cutter to cut your foam board to the right dimension for the number of Easter eggs you have. Mine is 18.5″ x 15.5″ for 12 large eggs.
Step 5: Decorate the sides of the board with washi tape.
Step 6: With your glue dots or hot glue, stick your plastic Easter eggs to your board.
