DIY Tie Dye Sneakers with Sharpies
June 30, 2017 No Comments
It’s summer…You know what that means…tie dye DIY projects!
Yay for kids…Boo for moms (because of the mess)
No worries. I’ve got you covered. I recently made these mess free tie dye sneakers for Momtastic.com that uses Sharpies and rubbing alcohol. Easy Peasy.
Click here for the complete how-to.
It was a simple project. In fact I made some tie dye pillows and tote bags years ago with the same technique for Netflix.
Supplies:
- Rubbing alcohol
- Sneakers (I got these at Walmart for less than $6)
- Sharpie markers
- Paint brush
- Painter’s tape
Photo Instructions:
Here is one of Kai’s best friends (Lily) modeling the sneakers for me.
Here are more fun projects you can do with Sharpies:
- Pop Art Pennies
- Tea Cup Gardens
- DIY Champagne Flutes
- Harry Potter Mug (my favorite)
