How to Make a DIY Planter Craft out of Recycled Water Bottles

It’s almost Earth Day and I thought it’d be fun to make a planter project out of recycled water bottles. I have the full tutorial on momtastic.com. Basically, I painted recycled Smart Water bottles (I like them the be the best because the bottles are smooth and are easy to paint), hung them up with yarn and planted succulents. It looks cool to have the upcycled bottles hanging in a group of 3-5 at varying lengths. The more the merrier, I say!

Kelly!!! I am just now seeing this DIY blog! I love it so much, I am going to do the smart water bottle planting. How do you insert the yarn to hang? Amazing, you need to have a youtube vlog…. so proud of you!
HI! thanks for the love! It’s easy! Just poke a hole through the middle of the bottle with an xacto knife. Make sure you do it in the middle, if you do it on the top, the planter will flip over and everything will fall out. I learned from experience. 🙁 lol!
