How to Make an Olympic Wind Sock Craft
Don’t you just love the Olympics? I mean the world needs some uplifting right now. There has been so much chaos going on. We really need something to celebrate.
Growing up, I wanted to be an Olympian – specifically in gymnastics. Unfortunately, I can’t even do a cartwheel. But a girl can dream! haha
Talking about gymnastics, Kai is actually starting to get into it. I took gymnastics for years and couldn’t do anything. He almost has a back handspring at age 9 (almost 10). I think it has a lot to do with confidence. I didn’t have any growing up.
Anyways, back to the Olympics. I recently designed this Olympic craft for onlinelabels.com. Click here for the complete how-to.
I used 1.5″ inch circle labels then cut out the center using a 1″ craft hole punch.
I stuck them on a oatmeal cardboard cylinder that I covered in white sheet labels.
Then I stuck colorful streamers into the center of the cardboard cylinder.
When finished with this project, I gave it to one of my son’s BFF, Lily, who is having an “olympic” themed birthday party. I’ll try to take photos and post them. They have a lot of things planned. Can’t wait!
