DIY A Pop of Color to an Ikea Lack Table Hack

Don’t you just love it when your furniture is versitle and can change it on a whim. That’s why I designed this super easy DIY project. I simply transformed everyone’s beloved lack table (you know you have one or four somewhere in your house), into a modern cube end table that features a pop of color.

It’s so simple and only take a couple of hours (mostly drying time) to make.

Go to Momtastic.com for the complete how-to, but I’ll give you the basic skinny on it.

First you paint the bottom of each table white to prime it. Then you paint your color on it. I love funky colors, but of course choose whatever fits your family’s home or room.

Then simply put one of your tables together according to the instructions and glue the second piece to the bottom of the legs.

Then when you’re bored with the color, flip the piece over and show off the other side. 2 in 1, baby! It’s like a DIY BOGO! Score!
