DIY: Easy Hipster Bear Gift Wrap
Kai’s BFF Beahr recently celebrated his 9th birthday. Even though he didn’t have a party, we had to give him a gift. He is such a special friend and sweet, sweet boy. Since his name is Beahr, I’ve been dreaming how to incorporate a Bear into something we give him. I came up with decorating his gift as a hipster bear. How cute!!!!
Supplies:
Brown kraft paper
Black sharpie
Scissors
¼” Craft puncher
Black cardstock
Blue cardstock
Tape
Step 1: Wrap your present with your brown kraft paper.
Step 2: Cut a circle and two ears from your kraft paper scraps. Crumple them for texture.
Step 3: Use your black sharpie to draw on your ears.
Step 4: Draw a black oval nose and dots on your mouth circle.
Step 5: Use your craft puncher to cut out two small black eyes out of black cardstock.
Step 6: Cut out eyeglasses from your black cardstock.
Step 7: Cut out a bow tie from your blue cardstock.
Step 8: Tape the face, ears, glasses and bowtie in place.
Project complete!
What a great idea! I’m inspired to be more creative with my gift wrapping 🙂
