DIY Greeting Cards
Instead of paying a fortune for greeting cards (they can be more than $5 a pop!), make your own. I used labels from onlinelabels.com to do just that.
Take an hour one weekend and make a lot for all different occasions. So, next time there is an occasion where you need a card, you have them on hand. Plus the receiver of the card will feel extra special because you handmade the card.
They are so easy to make. All you need is a little bit of creativity. Your kids will have a blast doing it. Also, it’s a great way to teach them manners — especially when it comes to Thank You cards. I’m a big advocate of Thank You cards – especially with family members. They don’t HAVE to send you a gift. You need to teach kids gratitude.
