DIY Travel Adventure Journal
My parents, Kai and I recently traveled to Washington D.C. and Philadelphia for 12 days. It was like a crash course in American history. We went to Mount Vernon, where George Washington grew up, all of the Smithsonian museums (I enjoyed the natural history museum, the American history museum and the portrait gallery the best), Gettysburg (Kai’s favorite – just kidding – he could unfortunately care less) and Independence Hall in Philly.
When we returned, Momtastic.com asked me to design a DIY Travel Journal. Click here for the complete how-to.
It’s so easy to make.
All you need is:
A binder, brochures and mementos from your trip, and photos from your adventures. If you want to add some cool effects, use stamps or stickers or whatever your creativity will allow.
Then you make the pages by Mod Podging the photos and cut out mementos. It’s so easy and it’s something you’ll treasure.
What’s great about these books is that you can add to them every adventure you take!
