How to drink more water? Fruit-Infused Water Recipes + Printable Labels
If you’ve been following me for a while, you know that I love healthy options when I’m feeding my family. Whole, non processed foods are a big deal in our house.
We also drink a lot of water. In fact, my husband recently bought some fancy-ancy water filtration system for our kitchen sink. We rarely buy juice (mainly because the sugar content is pretty high), so instead, I make fruit infused water to give our h20 a hint of flavor. When I first started doing this a few summers back, Kai was disappointed. He thought it was going to taste like a smoothie. I had to explain to him, it’s still water, with a hint of the fruit flavor.
I recently chronicled by favorite recipes for onlinelabels.com and also created free printable labels for them. I love these labels – I think they are so fun – especially h2 oh-yeah! It makes me smile. I had the company make these waterproof labels for me using their laser printers. These labels rock because no matter how many times I put them in the dishwasher they come out looking awesome. That doesn’t work so well with the ink jet ones that I print out at home.
Anyways check out some of the fruit-infused water recipes for you:
Watermelon, mint and lime
This one is my absolute favorite. I could drink this all the time. I’m sad that summer is almost over and I’m going to have to ween myself from my watermelon obsession.
I think if you were to try one recipe. Try this one. It’s ah-maze-ing!!!!!
Orange and blueberry
Cucumber and mint
Orange, mint, strawberry
Strawberry, lemon
I also tried a fruit punch version as well where I put all of the fruit in one. That one was also pretty tasty. Which on is your favorite? Have you made any? What’s your favorite combo?
