Rice Krispy Treat Spring Flowers + Free Printable
I walk Kai to school each morning and I can always tell when the new season is here in our early morning walks. When winter comes, there is a coolness in the air that wasn’t there before. Spring has been creeping up the last few weeks and I no longer need a sweatshirt in the morning. The sun is a bit warmer and the trees are getting green buds on their branches again.
Kai is really into gardening. Last year we focused on flowers. Most years, however, we focus on veggies. This year, we have a smorgesborg of food in our garden. But we also have a few flowers mixed in between the vegetables. I mean you can’t have spring without flowers.
That’s why I wanted to design these flower Rice Krispy Treats for onlinelabels.com. They are an awesome spring break treat, wonderful for Easter, or just a great way to celebrate spring.
Here’s how you do it:

- Make your regular rice krispy treat recipe. Don’t stop there, though. Add in pink and yellow M&Ms. (Here’s a secret though. My store didn’t have plain yellow M&Ms, so I just got Reese’s Pieces and picked out the yellow.)
2. Then spread your mix out with a rolling pin on a greased cutting board. Then press a flower shaped cookie cutter into your mix.
3. Cut petals from green labels. Stick ’em on a green paper straw. Then stick the paper straw into the bottom of the flower.
4. Then place the flower in a bag and put a label on it. Click here for the free printable.
