Valentine’s Day Rice Krispy Treat Heart Pops
Not sure what to give your kid’s classmates for Valentine’s Day? What about these adorable Rice Krispy treat heart pops? Score. They’re inexpensive and totally easy!
You know what Kai and I did after this shoot? We took all of these Valentine’s Day heart pops to our local fire station to say Thank You for all of the hard work that they do.
I’m really trying to teach Kai to be compassionate and not be selfish? It’s a tough concept for a kid, but I feel like it can be done over time and with the right experiences. Eventually, the random acts of kindness and all of the meditations we do will eventually sink in. I hope. I just want him to be happy and spread love and happiness into the world. My intention of being his mom is to bring magic to his childhood. I just want him to be full of joy and happiness. I want him to feel the love within and spread it to everyone he meets.
How do you teach your child self love? How do you teach your child compassion?
Anyways: Back to the how-to…
All you need to do is make the Rice Krispy Treats according to the package, then use a heart shaped cookie cutter to make the shape.
Then you stick a paper straw into the bottom and drizzle with frosting or chocolate. Then add sprinkles, of course!
Once you’re done you cover them with a plastic baggie and tie it with a ribbon or Baker’s twine.
